what is somatic coaching?

Organic Intelligence® (OI) is a modern therapeutic approach designed to help people tap into their natural ability to heal and grow. Unlike traditional therapies that focus mainly on problems or past trauma, Somatic Coaching helps you connect with your body’s natural resilience. OI uses a variety of techniques, such as mindfulness, guided imagery, and paying attention to physical sensations and movements. These methods help you become more aware of your body and emotions, allowing you to feel more regulated and agency.

Somatic coaching can be helpful for processing the patterns of stress or trauma that hold you back. By learning tools to regulate your nervous system, we’ll figure out how you might handle life’s ups and downs with more ease and resilience.

Together we’ll learn how to increase compassion, self-awareness, and a sense of belonging, so that you can find greater purpose and energy in your work or personal mission.

I work with all people, particularly BIPOC, queer and trans people, those recovering from burnout, racial and/or religious trauma, and folks involved in movement and organizing work, teachers, social workers and anyone asking “what is mine to do?”.
